How We Work
Training for Innovation (TFI) projects are launched in response to specific NHS priorities or identified gaps, and are designed to have a maximum impact on training and development.
We work in partnership with a number of organisations including the National Patient Safety Agency, the NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency, as well as the medical device industry.
Our project managers all work in the NHS and are seconded to TFI, and project results include e-learning packages, DVDs, training booklets and guides for patients and staff.
As part of our self-sustaining remit, TFI exploits avenues outside the NHS, including the private healthcare sector and overseas, to raise revenue from our training tools which we use to instigate and support new projects.
