Workshops
Biannual Workshops are an important part of TFI's work. They provide a forum for dialogue between us, our members and our stakeholders. These workshops are instrumental in promoting closer links with the healthcare community and gaining wider promotion for our outputs whilst receiving valuable input from Workshop delegates.
Our most recent Workshop "e learning For Innovation In Healthcare" was held in London, 17th March, 2009. E-learning in education and medical device training was the chosen theme running through the event. Demonstrations by participating stakeholder organisations took place along with exhibition stands mounted by medical technology companies. At the Workshop we announced our new name, NHS Training for Innovation, to launch us on a sustained future within the NHS. Arising from the break-out session discussions and the views of our members, TFI is now establishing a Medical Device Trainers Forum within the TFI website which will be a resource specifically for trainers in Trusts across the UK. We will be anmnouncing soon, the launch and opening of this Forum.
